The International Plant Pangenome Network was established to bring together researchers working in the plant pangenome space and to support open discussion within an informal international network.
Our purpose
Plant pangenomics is developing rapidly, yet many researchers continue to encounter similar practical and conceptual challenges. The network provides a forum for sharing knowledge, comparing experiences, and discussing how pangenomic tools and approaches can best be applied across different plant species, datasets, and research questions. A particular focus of the network is the use of graph-based pangenome approaches in plants.
Our meetings
We meet once each month in a virtual format. Most meetings include an informal presentation from a network member, focused on work in progress, practical experience, or open questions. We also occasionally host guest speakers.
Open and constructive discussion
A central aim of the network is to foster open, useful, and collegial exchange.
